Top September Stories: There was a lot of Giving Back

Here’s what’s trending on RoofersCoffeeShop® this past month.

Once a month when I write about the most popular articles from the previous month, I start by taking another look at last month’s blog. Doing this each month demonstrates a definite pattern for me – anytime we are writing about the great things this industry does to give back, it makes the top stories list.

The other Karen at RCS (yes, there are two of us!) handles the stats and analytics so when I ask her for the top 5 from the previous month, she always sends me the top 10. I don’t always share the ones that are in position 6 – 10 but as I reviewed the list, I noticed another giving back story making the list.

In the #1 and #8 spot, were articles about Florida contractors providing support to the Bahamas immediately following hurricane Dorian, taking supplies by plane and in one case, bringing a stranded family back to Florida with them. Taking the #4 spot was another article about a contractor and manufacturer partnering to provide a new roof to a family shelter. There were also two articles in the #6 - #10 spot relating to activities taking place at METALCON this week that I wanted to be sure you were all aware of. I am headed to METALCON this afternoon. If you’re there, stop by the RCS Booth (#1043, right outside the PPG Theater) and say hello!
