Tee off with Alberta Allied Roofing Association!

AARA’s 2026 annual golf tournament offers a day of golfing, networking and giving back!  

Planned for June 18, 2026, Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA)’s annual golf tournament will be held at The Hamptons Golf Club Calgary. This event promises to be a day of networking, camaraderie and friendly competition on a premier, private course!  

Registration for the event can be done as an individual or as a group. Each registration includes a cart, breakfast, a complimentary drink ticket, a tournament gift and a 10oz Sterling Silver AAA Alberta Hamptons Cut NY BBQ Dinner. Please note, if registering as an individual you will be asked to join a team. Registration costs are as follows:  

• AARA member single registration: For AARA members, costs CAD $299.99 
• Non-AARA member player registration: A ticket for one non-AARA member. Costs CAD $324.99 
• Foursome registration: Tickets for four attendees. Priced at CAD $1,184.99 
• Dinner only ticket: Access to buffet meal at post tournament Awards Banquet for one person. Costs CAD $79.95 

Additionally, AARA will be using this year’s tournament to support their training and youth initiatives, specifcally by fundraising for the Elwood Hillman Scholarship! This scholarship aims to recognize and uplift roofing apprentices who are enrolled in or have completed training through Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. 

One of the ways they are fundraising this year is with the help of Todd Halpen, the 2021 PGA of Alberta Teacher of the Year, PGA of Alberta Board Member and Head Coach of the University of Calgary Dinos, and a special “Pay the Pro” event. Players can have Todd step in to take a long drive shot for them, and the money they pay Todd will go towards the scholarship! This is a great way to add a bit more friendly competition while simultaneously supporting a great cause. 

Interested in supporting but don’t have the time to hit the course? AARA still has multiple sponsorship opportunities available that give you a great way to promote your business and support AARA’s work! These sponsorship opportunities include:  

• Hole sponsorship: This sponsorship gives your logo prominent positioning on digital marketing materials, at the registration signage and through a customized pin flag! You also get the opportunity to set up a table display at your sponsored hole to showcase your company’s offerings and add promotional items to the player’s swag bag. Sponsorship costs CAD $1,000. 

• Breakfast sponsorship: Help everyone tee-off the day right as the breakfast sponsor! This sponsorship package costs CAD $2,500 and includes standalone signage at registration, visibility during peak arrival time and logo presence across all event marketing.  
• Cart sponsorship: For CAD $2,500, you can put your brand in motion with logos on all golf carts and event promotions. Further, this comes with the opportunity to include branded items in player swag bags, keeping your brand front-of-mind even after the event. 
• Prize sponsorship: Align your brand with celebration and fun as a prize sponsor! This package includes eye-catching signage on the prize table, verbal acknowledgement at the award ceremony dinner, logo inclusion on event marketing items and the opportunity to place promo items in player swag bag. The entire package costs CAD $1,500.
