The Makers Ultimate Challenge is an annual hands-on building competition that brings together some of the most talented creators in the maker community. With a combined anticipated reach of 9 million people, MUC isn't just a build-off — it's a celebration of craftsmanship, community and the future of skilled trades. Each year, the event raises critical funding and awareness for regional maker spaces that equip the next generation of builders, engineers and tradespeople.
Joanie Sprague, known as a trusted voice in DIY, carpentry and home improvement, serves as one of eight build captains at this year's event. Her team will compete in a two-day building challenge where creativity, collaboration and speed are everything — and where the right materials make all the difference.
That's where Titebond comes in. As a team sponsor, Titebond's logo will be featured on the team banner and throughout event promotional materials. Beyond the branding, Titebond will also be putting its products directly in the hands of participants, providing wood glue for use throughout the build-off. It's a natural fit; when makers are racing the clock to bring a vision to life, they need adhesives they can count on.
All finished projects will be donated to local organizations, making every drop of glue count for something bigger.
Titebond’s involvement goes beyond sponsorship . It reflects a continued commitment to supporting the maker community and skilled trades at every level. By equipping builders with reliable products and backing events like MUC, Titebond helps foster innovation, hands-on learning and collaboration among creators of all experience levels. Titebond understands that today’s makers are tomorrow’s industry leaders and opportunities like the Makers Ultimate Challenge provide a platform to inspire, educate and connect. As teams work under pressure to design and build meaningful projects, Titebond is proud to play a role in helping transform ideas into finished pieces that will serve real needs in their communities.
