Maintenance Programs are Essential

RCS Influencer Mike Pickel says that maintenance programs keep customers happy.

We are in the process of building out more robust maintenance programs for both our commercial customers and our residential homeowners. At Texas Traditions Roofing, we know the importance of ongoing maintenance for protection the property as well as keeping our customers satisfied.

If we install a large commercial roof that the building owner invested a lot of money into, we don’t want to see that roof leaking in five years simply because the drains are clogged. We encourage them at the time of installation to participate in our maintenance program that will give them a twice-yearly inspection. Removal of debris, drain cleaning and a quick visual inspection will keep the roof in top performing condition. If there are issues, we can address them while they are minor and before they lead to more problems.

We customize our maintenance plans for each customer’s roof, taking into consideration the age, current condition and type of system installed. Our options include: interior and exterior inspection once or more per year, cleaning of drains and gutters, repair of membrane punctures, resealing of flashing around roof protrusions, inspection of seams and expansion joints, re-securing gutters, downspouts and other loose metal, plus a discount on all roof repairs and prioritized appointment scheduling.

After maintenance is performed, we provide a written report that clearly details what we found and what steps were taken to remedy any issues. Photos are important and included as well.

Offering maintenance programs for our customers has helped establish trust and build relationships with our customers. They know that we are trying to ensure they have the best performing roofing system and will be honest about when it is time for a replacement or restoration.
