RCS Influencers to share wisdom, advice and insight about the importance of company culture.

RoofersCoffeeShop®, the award-winning website where the industry meets for technology, information and everyday business, invites roofing professionals to an RCS Influencers panel on The Strength of Company Culture in Recruiting, Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 7:45 a.m.  The panel discussion is part of the International Roofing Expo (IRE) being held in Dallas, Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

RCS Influencers contribute thoughts and wisdom monthly through interviews, videos and blogs on RoofersCoffeeShop concerning pertinent industry and roofing topics.  They represent all facets of the industry including contractors, associations and industry service providers.  The blog posts are recognized in a special category on the site called RCS Influencers. 

Taking their advice on the road, a number of RCS roofing contractor Influencers who have presented at last year’s IRE, Western States Expo, will present again at the 2020 IRE.  This panel is moderated by Heidi J. Ellsworth, RCS Partner and includes:

This panel of roofing contractor Influencers will share ideas, successes and challenges of finding and retaining a strong workforce by creating and sustaining a very strong and positive company culture.  The panel will discuss important questions surrounding the of the role that company culture plays in attracting millennials and an overall diverse workforce. 

“This panel is impressive.  They will share strategies and obstacles in recruiting and retaining labor in the office and in the field with the audience,” stated Ellsworth.  “Questions will include how these companies are dealing with local labor sources, recruiting the next generation for rooftop jobs and looking at new areas of labor savings techniques that enhance productivity and a positive culture.”
