Total Roofing Systems – The Metal Roof Experts is the January R-Club Roofer of the Month!

Based out of Stuart, Florida, Total Roofing Systems – The Metal Roof Experts are all about customer service. R-club's Roofer of the Month for January, Megan Ellsworth sits down with Kyle Nurminen in this podcast episode to discuss some of their most recent accomplishments and why they love the roofing industry. 

Total Roofing Systems added The Metal Roof Experts to their name in 2018, but because of the Florida market, they equally specialize in tile. But Kyle says, “Our specialty really, is custom solutions. Because we’re well versed and well skilled in all aspects of roofing... We’re not limited to just what we do. We don’t just say, ‘Oh, it has to be this,’ because that’s all we know how to do. We can look at a project from every angle, break it out, and really make the best decision for [the homeowner].” They’ve recently been getting into more communities and finding what works best in each area. As Kyle mentions, it’s not about getting the proposal out the door to win the bid. They want to take the time surveying each project to provide consulting for every customer, no matter what the roof system is. 

Being able to offer an overall solution requires an understanding of the customer’s needs, and Kyle feels his company excels in customer service. When asked how he defines superior customer service, he admits, “I think that’s a tougher question than most people readily rattle off. I think the key aspect of customer service is to always make it right. Something’s always going to pop up. But it’s being upfront, having integrity and not necessarily about doing everything, but just making everything right.” 

At Total Roofing Systems, they really are all about a total solution. Kyle finishes, saying, “I want to know every single thing about your building, everything about your life significant to that building. There are so many factors that come into your roof. If you’re that type of person, and it really means that to you – if your home is really where you hang your hat, where you’re raising your kids and what you’re passing that on to your family – come to us. We’re going to look at it that way too.”
